General Motors to host information session for new, exclusive co-op opportunity
General Motors will be on campus to share information about their exclusive partnership with Purdue students offering a unique, yearlong co-op assignment through a new extensive experiential learning program called Learning While Working (LWW). They will be recruiting a cohort of domestic students beginning their junior courses in BSEE or BSCmpE, and will hire five students to work on-site in Michigan with competitive pay, housing stipend per term, and a hybrid work schedule.
Students will be engaged to build their professional skills while still making significant progress towards their degree. LWW students will be matched to a business area where they will be exposed to a variety of product development work. Students will also be paired with a Purdue faculty member to complete industry projects for academic credit. This is an opportunity for innovate, high-performing engineering students looking to gain extensive industry experience and developed unmatched skills before graduation.
